Physical Fitness Exercise for elderly
Old age is the time period of human’s life, when elders often mourn for many health related problems. The body of elderly and old age people become so much weak as far as physical fitness is concerned, and because of that they face many health related problems, like leg cramps, back pain, knee pain, bones joint pain etc. however, studies have shown us that many older age group people who still tend to exercise and maintain their routine diet plans and physical fitness, gets less affected by any kind of health or physical fitness related problems.
The reason why health and fitness becomes a monster for older people is because of the frequent reduction in muscle strength, in bone strength, unbalanced level of blood pressure and most importantly the anxiety level that hugely affects the good or bad health of a human body.
These factors can become a positive sign of health, if old people would maintain their fitness regime. However, there is a myth about exercising that has been widely spread is, that doing exercise in old age creates even more health problems, which is very untrue. Wherein, regular exercising not only keeps your body fit and fine but also it protects your body from any kind of physical sickness. Even doctors suggest that merely resting creates many physical problems, and it is very essential to do some kind of physical job to keep your body fit and healthy.
A person when cross his 40’s tend to become more physically weak, because the muscles starts losing their tightness and becomes more dull, the density of bones even starts reducing, which is why older people frequently suffers from osteoporosis, that is a situation of having regular fractures.
Another factor that causes major health problems in older people is being overweight. Excess weight, makes older people even more incapable of doing any physical job, also more weight brings more burdens on the weaker bones and makes them more prone to the fractures. In order to eradicate this problem, physicians always recommend doing regular bone exercises.
Bone exercise, breathing exercise, morning walks, cardio exercise, yoga and meditation are very beneficial for older people to maintain a healthy lifestyle. However, they can also perform stretching exercise to strength up their muscles, these exercises not only takes away their body from any kind of physical problem but also it keeps them to get rid of those common problems among old people like heart diseases, depression and anxiety.
Lastly, proper diet (a fiber rich diet) is very essential along with regular exercise to make older people’s body away from any physical problem.
